I’ve been tinkering around with trying to make some savory dishes with apples. I’m currently working on a pot pie recipe, so stay tuned for that! In the mean time, here is something that is simple and easy to throw together for a fall party or afternoon treat! This salsa is really awesome with cinnamon chips!
- 1 medium apple
- 1 pear
- 1 plum
- 1 stalk of celery
- juice of one orange
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons of honey
1. Wash and dice apple, pear and plum and place in a bowl.
2. Wash and dice celery and place in bowl with diced fruit.
3. Add juice, walnuts and honey to bowl.
4. Mix well.
5. Best if served with cinnamon chips! It’s even better when you let it soak overnight!
